Economic briefing with the Bank of England - November 2022

At a critical time for London’s economy, BusinessLDN will be welcoming the Bank of England’s London Agency team for an insights briefing on the economic conditions and outlook of Greater London. For the first of these, we will be joined by Lai Wah Co, Deputy London Agent at the Bank, who will share an update on what she is hearing from businesses across the Capital, her insights and predictions for the economy and the Bank’s strategy. Private investment into affordable housing: Roundtable with Tom Copley, Deputy Mayor for Housing and Residential Development

Join us for the launch of a new BusinessLDN report, in partnership with CBRE, which considers the role of private investment in affordable housing in the capital. The report looks at how such investment can be harnessed to increase housebuilding, deliver social good and the steps that should be taken to secure more of this investment in London. We will be joined by Tom Copley, Deputy Mayor for Housing and Residential Development at the GLA who will respond to the report, setting out his views on the topic.
