As a world-leading business hub, London is at the vanguard of this change. The city must act quickly to ensure the benefits of AI flow to firms and individuals across the capital.

BusinessLDN and Deloitte are working together to investigate the current and future impact of AI on workforces, with a particular emphasis on how these changes affect London’s labour market and how the capital can best respond. We’ll explore issues such as re-skilling existing workers, what the disruption means for entry-level jobs and the traditional pyramid structure for progression, and the skills required to oversee the technology – all geared towards answering the question ​“How do London and Londoners win at AI?”

This builds on our leadership of the London Local Skills Improvement Plan, including a recent report on advanced digital skills, which set out detailed policy recommendations to support the capital’s competitiveness and ensure Londoners are equipped for the jobs of today and tomorrow.
