The BusinessLDN – Deloitte AI Steering Group brings together senior leaders from across London’s economy to explore what this transformation means for productivity, people, and long‑term economic success. Convened by BusinessLDN in partnership with Deloitte, the group focuses on building a shared understanding of how AI is being adopted, how it will evolve over time, and the training and re-skilling requirements needed to ensure a resilient labour market for London.

At its heart is a simple but critical question: how can we ensure that AI is a force for good and a win-win for London’s economy and its workforce?

Drawing on real‑world experience from across sectors, the group examines how AI is changing roles and skills, what this means for entry‑level opportunities and workforce progression, and the future skills needed to deploy and oversee the technology. 

We’ll be sharing insights as the work progresses, including on how the labour market is changing across different roles and sectors; case studies, top tips, and best practice sharing for firms; and policy recommendations for both the Government and the GLA on how to maximise the prospects of success for jobs and the London labour market.
