Taking place immediately before the start of Future London, our opening CEO Breakfast brought the city’s most senior leaders together for a focused, high-level discussion on securing London’s competitiveness and driving long-term growth.

Building on the findings published by our Growth Commission in Spring 2026, the roundtable moved beyond rhetoric to explore clear commitments aimed at enhancing London’s position and defining the next phase of the city’s development.

Chaired by John Dickie, Chief Executive of BusinessLDN, and drawing on our cross-sector membership, the CEO Breakfast provided an exclusive, invite-only forum to explore how business can harness London’s existing strengths and make the most of emerging opportunities.

Following the breakfast, key insights from the discussion were reflected in the CEO Panel on the Future London main stage, helping to inform the priorities for the day’s wider conversations.

Designed to provide space within a packed agenda for more technical discussions, these roundtables welcomed senior-level speakers and curated guest lists, sparking conversation between some of the most influential figures and organisations active in carefully selected topic areas.

Unlocking London and Wider UK Growth Through Airport Capacity and Infrastructure, including supply chains, construction, and export-led growth

Led by Heathrow and BusinessLDN.

This roundtable explored how airport capacity can unlock investment, trade, jobs and long-term growth across the UK economy. The discussion examined the role of airports as economic enablers, the balance between growth and sustainability, and what is needed from government and industry to deliver future-ready infrastructure at scale.

The private roundtable programme formed an important part of the day’s discussions, with additional themes featured across the event agenda.
