Founded in 2016, Local London represents nine local authorities in north east and south east London.
Their member authorities are Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Havering, Newham, Enfield, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest, representing around 2.7 million residents and 100,000 businesses. Their population makes them larger than the cities of Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool combined, and their economy already contributes over £60 billion annually and has grown faster than any other part of Outer London since 2010.
A champion for the sub-region to ensure it benefits from current and emerging opportunities, Local London’s primary focus is on growing this part of London.
