Commenting on upcoming strike action across London’s transport network, Ed Richardson, Programme Director for Transport at BusinessLDN, said:
“These strikes will once again make it harder for Londoners and visitors to get around the city.
“The disruption will impact London’s reputation as a place to invest, visit and do business at a time when firms are already faced with the impacts of the Iran war overseas and political instability at home.
“While many Londoners can work remotely or find other ways to travel, businesses that rely on commuter footfall – not least restaurants, retailers and theatres – will be dreading these strikes.
“We urge both sides to reach an agreement urgently to avoid yet more damaging strike action.”
