Responding to Tube strikes planned for later this month being called off, BusinessLDN’s Transport Director Ed Richardson said:
“Businesses and Londoners will welcome the decision to cancel planned industrial action later this month. The uncertainty over the past week has, however, already had an impact on the plans of some firms, their staff and customers. Both sides should now get around the negotiating table to avoid planned future strikes which would cause significant disruption and hit sectors such as hospitality, retail and culture that rely on people visiting venues across the capital.”
