Leading London Dinner with Sir John Armitt CBE, Chair, National Infrastructure Commission

For our September Leading London Dinner we will be joined by Sir John Armitt CBE, Chair, National Infrastructure Commission. Sir John will be providing an overview of the Commission’s Infrastructure Progress Review 2024 and offering insights from ongoing work on the causes of comparably high costs for delivering major projects in the UK. He will also be discussing the prospects for upgrading London’s infrastructure amid public funding constraints and the conditions required for attracting private finance. In September 2013, Sir John published an independent review on long term infrastructure planning in the UK. The recommendations in the Armitt Review received widespread support and resulted in the creation of the National Infrastructure Commission in 2015.
