Green Skills for a Thriving Capital

As part of the London Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) consultation, this roundtable will explore emerging workforce challenges and training needs in green, sustainability skills across London’s priority sectors.

Why Attend?
This roundtable, part of the London Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) consultation process, will focus on the region’s evolving green, sustainability skills needs to inform the 2026 LSIP report.

We’re seeking your insights, experiences, and ideas to help identify emerging skills gaps, shape training priorities, and ensure London’s workforce is prepared to support the transition to a low-carbon, sustainable economy.

From addressing shortages in green construction and retrofitting roles to advancing clean energy, embedding sustainability across industries, and supporting innovation in circular economy practices, your input will help us better understand the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of green jobs and skills in London.

Who should attend?
Attendees from both corporate and academic organisations are encouraged to attend as well as anyone with an interest in Skills development. Typical job roles this will appeal to might include Sustainability and net zero leads, Green Skill / Training Leads, Green Skills Training Lead, Careers Advisor’s, Net zero leads.
