Alan is Professor Synthetic Chemistry and vice-Provost (Education and Student Experience) at Imperial College London. He is a committed educator who is passionate about improving the quality and effectiveness of STEMMB teaching and the learning environment at Imperial. He leads the implementation of the College’s Learning and Teaching strategy, which designed to establish Imperial as a global leader in STEMMB Education and active learning. As part of this, he is currently leading the development of Imperial College’s AI vision 2030.
