BusinessLDN consultation response - Planning Reform Working Paper: Speeding Up Build Out

We welcome the opportunity to respond to the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government’s consultation on measures to accelerate build-out rates. As a stakeholder committed to sustainable and effective development, we believe that any proposed interventions must be grounded in robust evidence and a clear understanding of the underlying challenges. Our response outlines why we consider the current proposals premature and highlights the importance of first implementing and analysing the new data reporting requirements introduced through the Levelling-up and Regeneration Act 2023.
