Commenting on the extension of funding for Transport for London to August 3, Adam Tyndall, Programme Director for Transport at BusinessLDN, says:
“Transport for London has been living hand-to-mouth for more than two years, so it is good that there is finally a deal on the table. If it takes a few extra days of discussions to ensure that London gets the deal it needs, then so be it. Public transport in London is too important to the national economy to be allowed to fall into managed decline.”
