Shaping London’s Growth Plan

For this exclusive BusinessLDN roundtable we will be joined by Howard Dawber, Deputy Mayor of London for Business and Growth, and senior Greater London Authority officials to help shape the capital’s new economic growth plan. With an urgent need to get the city’s economy firing on all cylinders, the development of a London Growth Plan was a priority ask in BusinessLDN’s manifesto for the Mayoral Election. We’re delighted that City Hall has heeded our call, and given members an exclusive opportunity to help inform the plan which they are co-creating with London Councils. This session will focus on the key systems – planning, transport and skills, to name but three – that underpin the capital’s role as engine of growth for the whole UK. We will then hold separate breakout sessions on two of the emerging themes for the Growth Plan: Growing London’s Workforce and Skills and Building for Growth and Net Zero.
