The rescheduled Leading London dinner with Andy Haldane, former Chief Economist at the Bank of England and current Chief Executive of the RSA will now take place Tuesday 4 February.
Andy will provide his insights on how the Labour Government can deliver on one of its core missions to boost growth. This dinner will also be a timely opportunity to analyse the challenging outlook for the public finances, following the Autumn Budget.
Andy became Chief Executive of the Royal Society of Arts in September 2021 and before that was Chief Economist at the Bank of England and a member of the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee. He chaired the Government’s Levelling Up Advisory Council and is a member of the Chancellor’s Council of Economic Advisors. He was the Permanent Secretary for Levelling Up at the Cabinet Office from September 2021 to March 2022.
