Panel discussion and networking breakfast with a keynote address from Shirley Rodrigues, Deputy Mayor, Environment and Energy
Join us for our post – COP27 panel discussion and networking breakfast to discuss London’s progress against its net zero carbon commitments in the last year, the role of business in the capital’s decarbonisation and the outcomes of COP27 and how these are expected to impact London. The Mayor of London has set out a pathway to reduce London’s emissions and hit the ambitious target of the capital reaching net zero by 2030. Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy, Shirley Rodrigues will set out the Mayor’s net zero vision for London in a keynote address and offer her thoughts on how the capital can decarbonise. The Deputy Mayor will then participate in a panel discussion with leading business figures from the capital including Anna Moore, Partner at McKinsey & Company, Tor Burrows, Executive Director of Sustainability & Innovation for Grosvenor and others who are at the forefront of moving their businesses towards net zero. The panel will debate the Mayor’s pathway to net zero and its interplay with businesses action to decarbonise, the economic benefits of an accelerated green transition and how London can drive best practice across the UK and the world. Please note that this event is rescheduled from 3 November. Please re-register if you are able to attend on the new date.
