The new year will mark the formal establishment of the Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC) tasked with delivering the Mayor’s Oxford Street Transformation project. What does this mean for the future of the Nation’s High Street and the wider West End? How do we ensure it has a long-term, sustainable future that balances the needs of the business community, local residents, shoppers and visitors whilst ensuring that regeneration opportunities are optimised?

The Oxford Street Transformation Team will present their latest plans and programme. This will be followed by a panel discussion exploring lessons learned from London’s first MDC with Rosanna Lawes, former Executive Director of Development at the London Legacy Development Corporation, and from Paris with Edouard Lefebvre, former Managing Director of Comité Champs-Elysées.
