Part of the Skilling London Series

Against the backdrop of an evolving labour market – automation, emerging business models, and changing ways of working — the Taylor Review of Modern Working Practices set out important thinking on what good work is and what employers, and government, can do to support it. Now that COVID-19 has posed a significant challenge to both employees and employers and has introduced perhaps a new future of work, the idea of Good Work is ever more critical. Wellbeing, inclusivity, flexibility of working patterns and training are all at the top of the business agenda. This roundtable will bring together leading businesses, educators and policy makers to explore what we mean by good work, and how we deliver it, fundamental for the future of London’s labour market and its recovery. This roundtable brings together leading businesses, educators and policy makers to tackle these questions and identify what’s required to green London.
